質問者：私は離婚をしています。今は一人ですが男女とは一体何なんでしょうか？
佐藤先生：この世の中を２つに分けるとしたら、男と女に分けるということができますね。
人間としては同じなんだけど、裸にすれば全く違います。
当然、女性は子供を産むけれど男性は産めない、と既に決まっているものがあります。
男はたったの１秒でも女になったことはないですね。
逆もそうです。
つまり、なったことがないんだからわからない。
相手の立場になってあげられない。
でも神様はそのように作ったわけです。
若い頃、異性にときめいたときのことを思い出してください。
ドキドキしたりわくわくしたり喜びがでてきたでしょ。
また、男女が愛し合うということも人間が後から作ったものじゃありません。
全部喜びは神様からのプレゼントです。
子供ができるともっと花丸です。
これで人類は地球上にずっと存続できる。
人間は男と女。
商売でもお客様の気持ちがわからなければいい商品が生まれません。

だから難しい。

質問者：佐藤先生は心のことを専門にされていますが、現実社会でのお金についてどういうお考えですか？
お金が欲しいというのは、みんなお金そのものが欲しいのではなく、自由が欲しいのです。
では、なぜ自由がほしいんでしょうか？
お金があっても幸せや愛を感じない。
自由にいろんなところへ行っても恐怖で一杯、不安や悩みで一杯だと幸せじゃないですね。
結局、お金が山ほどあっても悩みだらけだと、世界中どこへ行ってもその心は自分に付きまとうわけです。
じつはお金が欲しいというのは、深い部分では本当の自分、愛に目覚めたいということに繋がってくるわけです。

そうなるととても不自由です。
お金が欲しいというのは、みんなお金そのものが欲しいのではなく、自由が欲しいのです。

Questioner: Mr. Sato, I know you are a mental health specialist as well as a famous spiritual teacher in Japan. Could you share your views on money?
Mr. Sato: If you have no money, you can't eat anything or go anywhere. You lose your freedom. People want money, but it doesn't mean that they actually want money. What they really want is freedom. They think they can be free if they have a lot of money.
Then, why do they want to be free? There are some people who don't feel happy or are not satisfied with their lives at all despite huge amount of money they have.
You wouldn't feel happy wherever you go in the world if you are overwhelmed by fear and anxiety. Because you always have to carry your mind with you. That is to say, your ultimate goal is to feel happy and satisfied, and to love all the people including yourself. Your desire to be rich represents your desire to awaken to your true love inside in a deep sense.

生物が、ライオンがシマウマを食べるのも愛。
普通、情愛というのは可哀想にっていう思いが出てきます。
可哀想っていったら、宇宙の法則は成り立たなくなりますね。
人間はすべて自分の都合で捉えているのです。
以前、矢鴨というのがありましたね。
鴨に矢が刺さって可哀想だ、可哀想だって焼き鳥を食べながら言っていたりしますね。
人間の愛情はあくまでも自分の側から見たとらえかた。
私の言う愛というのは自分の都合の愛ではありません。
もうすでに決まっている愛。
例えばお父さんやお母さんは自分を愛しているに決まっている。
１００％決まっているんです。
自分に情をかけてもらったから愛されているとか、殴ったから愛してないとかそんなんじゃないんです。
ぶん殴られようが、可愛がられようが、小遣いをくれようがくれなかろうが、全部愛なんです。
絶対に変わらない。
その人間の感情に振り回されないもの。
そこから捉えたものを真我といっています。

Questioner: I'd like to know the difference between True Love and human love.
Mr. Sato: Affection or human love is something seen from people's standpoint which alway implies relativity.
True Love=True self does't have distinction between you and others, because it is absolute love. It can be represented as the law of the universe or Oneness. Everything in the universe or every happening in the whole universe including heart beat, rotation of the earth, and a food chain such as a lion eating a giraffe is Love itself

The arrow was removed and the duck flew safely away. People feel sorry for the duck, but they often eat Yakitori, pieces of grilled chicken on a skewer, which is just like Yagamo. What we do is riddled with contradictions, because we see things from our perspective.
But True love or Being isn't the same as those kinds, but it is something that is already given as it is.
For example, all the parents love their children no matter what. It is 100% true. It isn't like whether you were raised by your parents with deep affection or not. Or it isn't like your parents don't love you, because they gave you a spank...

佐藤先生：ものを売る時に「私はいい車がほしいから、そのためにこれ買ってください」っていったら相手は買ってくれますか？
「私はお金を儲けていいものを食べたいので買ってください」、「いい家に住みたいのでこの商品を買ってください」といったらどうでしょう？
そんなことを言って買ってくれる人はいませんね。
これをドロボー営業と呼んでいます。
心の中で自分のためだけなのに、あなたのためといって演技をしてやっている。
しかし、もしも本当に相手のためだけに全知全能をかけてやる人がいたらどうですか？
自分が１０万円を払っても、１０００万円くらいの価値のあることをやってくれたらどうですか？
他では考えられないくらいのことをやってくれる。
もしもその商品が必要なものだったら、間違いなくその人から買いますよね。
それをサンタ営業と呼んでいます。
ドロボーは人の家に入る時には物を盗んで出てきます。
サンタは子供の欲しいものを置いて静かに出て行きます。
すると、ドロボーが来るとなると鍵をかけますね。
しかし、サンタさんが来るとなるとなるべく入りやすいようにします。
つまり、人の心も同じです。そういう人には心のドアを開けて待っています。
すると当然業績ものびるわけです。これはすべてに通じます。

Questioner: I'd like to know about the Santa Sale method based on the YS approach that you have developed.
Mr. Sato: When you are a salesperson and try to sell a product, do you think you can sell it if you say, "Could you please buy my product so that I can be rich and buy a house and a car"?
No one would buy it. I call it "the Thief sales" (Trick sales). On the surface you may pretend that you are honest and sell it just for the client although you only think of taking from a customer for your gain.
However, what if there is a man who is really honest, puts customers first, and thinking only of making them happy.
Even though you buy a product which costs $100, he does something which is worth more than $10000 for you. What if there is such an incredibly nice salesman in front of you?
If you need the product, you will surely buy it from the man.
It is the Santa sales approach which I have developed from my own experience.
A thief thinks of taking from others when he sneaks into a house. On the contrary, Santa Clause only gives a present to children and gets out of the house without any noise.
People lock the door so that the thief would not be able to come in, but they will open the door so that Santa Clause would be able to come in.
The same thing can be said about people's mind.
People would open their mind to the sales person like Santa Clause and listen to him. As a result, the salesman can accomplish good results in business. The Santa Sales approach is not only effective for sales business, but for any kind of business as well as human relationships.

今日は武道の上達方法についてです。
質問者：武道をやっています。早く上達するコツがあれば教えてください。
佐藤先生：以前、経営者の前で話をしていたとき、その中に柔道の有名な金メダリストがいました。
その方が私の話にとても興味を持ちずっと私に質問をしていました。
私がその彼に言ったのは、「大事なのは人望ですよ」ということです。
人望があれば人は教えたくなるし協力したくなる。
本当の達人になるには自分の中の真我＝愛を極めることです。
ここに５０キロのものがある。
一生懸命鍛えてそれを持てたとしても１００キロは持てないかもしない。
私は今でも５００キロのものを持てます。
今すぐにでももてます。
どうしてだと思いますか？
皆んなに協力してもらうのです。
私は号令だけをかけ、あとは皆んなが持ち上げてくれます。
しかし、その逆に、邪魔をされたらどうでしょう？
協力どころか上からのっかってきたら、１０キロのものでも持てません。
合気道の達人で塩田剛三という人がいます。
彼の名言の中にも「一番強い技とは、自分を殺しにくる人間と友人になることだ」というのがあります。
宮本武蔵も最後の五輪書になるとそうなります。
最終的には皆んなと友人になる力です。これが一番強いのです。
なぜなら友人になった人間を侵したりしないからです。

質問者：武道をやっています。早く上達するコツがあれば教えてください。
佐藤先生：以前、経営者の前で話をしていたとき、その中に柔道の有名な金メダリストがいました。
その方が私の話にとても興味を持ちずっと私に質問をしていました。
私がその彼に言ったのは、「大事なのは人望ですよ」ということです。
人望があれば人は教えたくなるし協力したくなる。
本当の達人になるには自分の中の真我＝愛を極めることです。
ここに５０キロのものがある。
一生懸命鍛えてそれを持てたとしても１００キロは持てないかもしない。
私は今でも５００キロのものを持てます。
今すぐにでももてます。
どうしてだと思いますか？
皆んなに協力してもらうのです。
私は号令だけをかけ、あとは皆んなが持ち上げてくれます。
しかし、その逆に、邪魔をされたらどうでしょう？
協力どころか上からのっかってきたら、１０キロのものでも持てません。
合気道の達人で塩田剛三という人がいます。
彼の名言の中にも「一番強い技とは、自分を殺しにくる人間と友人になることだ」というのがあります。
宮本武蔵も最後の五輪書になるとそうなります。
最終的には皆んなと友人になる力です。これが一番強いのです。
なぜなら友人になった人間を侵したりしないからです。

"The true self" here doesn't mean your true feeling or real intention that is often compared with stated reasons, but the authentic self that is united as one with life of everything in the whole universe including all the natural elements.
Therefore, of course it is common for all humanity. It is the most wonderful self that lies deep down within you.
As I present workshops both in Japanese and English, I have witnessed many people from different countries who had wonderful experiences by meeting their true self.

Questioner: I'd like to learn the ropes of martial arts if you can share.
Mr. Sato: When I made a speech before corporate managers in the past, there was a famous Olympic gold medalist of Jyudo among them. He became very interested in my speech and asked me so many questions.
Then I said to him. "Whether or not you are loved by people matters". If you are loved by others, they want to teach you and they are willing to provide help to you. The ultimate goal is to uncover your true love deep down inside.
Assuming that here is a 50kg barbell, you might be able to lift it. But you won't be able to lift 100kg weighs.
But I can do it. I can lift a barbell which weighs 500kg right now. Do you know how? I'll ask help to others, and if they like me, all I need to do will be to say on the count of three.
On the other hand, there might be some who rather encumber your attempt by climbing onto the object, if you can't gain others' cooperation.
There is a famous Aikido master Gozo Shioda. This is one of his wise saying, "The strongest technique in martial arts is that you make friends with the one who comes to kill you."
Even a legendary swordsman Musashi Miyamoto reached the same view when he finally began to write "Gorin no sho".
The strongest power of all is to love all the people, because your true friend will never hurt you. Then you will have no enemies.

今日は決断力と真我の伝え方についてです。私が一番決断力がないと思うのは、レストランでメニューを選ぶときかな・・・
質問者：決断力がなく困っています・・・
佐藤先生：なかなか決断できない時は、まずは最悪を想定し、いったんそれを受け入れる。
そしてそれを倉庫にしまい込めばいいのです。そうするだけでもかなり肩の力が抜け楽になります。
あらゆる体験はノウハウという財産に変わります。
失敗も成功もすべて財産なわけです。
グズグズして行動しないでいると、失敗もしないかわりに成功の体験もしません。
失敗から学ぶノウハウをもえることはできません。決断の早い人はその両方を手にすることができます。
日頃から訓練だと思って、早く決断する練習をしてください。
質問者：両親が真我を宗教と誤解しています。どのようにすれば理解してもらえるのでしょうか？
佐藤先生：説得などする必要などありません。
真実がわかったときに自然と伝わります。
例えば、ケガをしていて今まで塗っていた薬が効かなかったとします。
そんなときにすぐに治るいい薬があれば、信じなさいとか説得とかは一切いらないですね。
いろんな体験談を聞かれたことがあると思いますが、真我に出会った人はほとんど全員が変化を体験しています。
こんなことは宗教ではありえないと思いますよ。
何百人に一人とかはそういった体験もあるかもしれません。
しかし、真我というのは直接だから、本当の自分に気付くことだからそういった体験をするのです。
だから悩みが消え、不安が消える。
ご両親に通じなくても全然戦うことはありません。
ご自分が何が真理かということを理解できるかどうか。
その一点でいいと思います。
人間はどうしても過去やって来たものを信じようとしますから。

Questioner: I think that I'm indecisive about everything. I want to know how to become more decisive.
Mr. Sato: Now I'll give you a tip to act more decisively. All you have to do is to imagine the worst-case scenario in your mind and accept it just in case of your making a wrong decision.
It will make you feel relaxed and easier. All your experiences will become treasure in the future as useful know-how, whether it is good or bad. Both your success and failure are important experience for you.
If you hesitate to take action as you are indecisive, you wouldn't fail or make a mistake, but you can't achieve success, either. Make a decision and take action quickly, and you will learn a lot of lessons from it. It is a good practice to always make a quick decision, if it's not an important one.
Questioner: I discovered my True Self in your seminar and I also want my family to experience it, but they think it is a kind of religion. How can I let them understand it?
Mr. Sato: You don't need to try to persuade them to understand what the True Self is. It will naturally get across to them when they see a clear evidence.
Assuming that you got injured and put medicine on your skin, but it doesn't work at all. Then you find some other medicine which works so well. In this case, do you think that you have to persuade your family to believe the effectiveness of the medicine? You don't have to. When they see the fact, they will understand it.
I think that you have witnessed many experiences of people who changed their lives for the better after the True Self discovery. Almost all the people experienced some changes in life. I don't think it happens so often in established religions. It happens here because discovering your True Self, True Love inside is the vital point which works on our consciousness directly. That's why so many people can have miraculous experiences while turning off their anxiety and worries.
You don't have to argue against your family members even though they seem to get the wrong idea about the True Self discovery. All you have to do is to truly understand what the Truth is, because people judge things from their past experiences.
If you hesitate to take action as you are indecisive, you wouldn't fail or make a mistake, but you can't achieve success, either. Make a decision and take action quickly, and you will learn a lot of lessons from it. It is a good practice to always make a quick decision, if it's not an important one.
